The vandals who desecrated Stonehenge today should be denied bail.
It is completely unacceptable for people to damage one of our most important national monuments and try to justify it as political activism.
I'm pleased arrests were made quickly by Wiltshire Police and, if found guilty, the perpetrators must be punished with the full force of the law. We must send the strongest possible signal that people cannot desecrate national monuments in pursuit of a political agenda.
