This week Labour pushed through a cut to the Winter Fuel Payments for 17,249 pensioners in East Wiltshire.
These pensioners will lose between £200 and £300 of income annually, which the last Government made available to help with their heating bills during winter.
This cut is to enable Labour to give public sector workers a payrise - including train drivers on £60-90k a year - in an obvious exchange for the funding the unions give to the Labour Party's election campaign.
If the Conservatives had made a cut to benefits like this, while using public money to reward their party donors, Labour would rightly be up in arms.
I will continue to fight for our pensioners, who deserve security and dignity in their retirement.
