I was delighted to visit Devizes' new health centre this morning and tour the new facility. I was hugely impressed by the building, which has the capacity for amazing versatility in treating patients holistically within their own communities. Practice staff told me how pleased they were with the site and how well it had been received by patients who have visited so far. I was also encouraged by the news that, at present, the centre is entirely self-sufficient in terms of energy, due to solar panels and other energy creating measures.
Having campaigned - like my predecessor - for the health centre for some years it is a great privilege to see first hand how it will benefit patients. My very sincere congratulations and thanks go to all those who have worked on this project.
