I am regularly contacted by constituents who have concerns about traffic enforcement and speeding in Wiltshire, and will soon be meeting with the Police and Crime Commissioner and the force’s lead on road safety to discuss what is being done locally. This is also an area of concern nationally, and I’m pleased to hear the Association of Police and Crime Commissioners is currently running a survey to capture public views on traffic policing. I would encourage as many people as possible to respond to the survey to help shape any widespread changes that could be made to make our roads safer.
The survey can be found here until 5pm on September 30.
