Laura Farris (MP for Newbury) and I will be holding an online public meeting for Constituents at TIME on Thursday 24th June to discuss the state ofthe River Kennet. We would like to hear from anyone with an interest in the quantity and quality of water in the river so that we can present a complete picture to the Environment Agency, to Thames Water and to Government Ministers. We are working with Action on the River Kennet and other local stakeholders to ensure we make the most effective case for protecting the river.
Protecting our rivers and chalk streams for future generations has never been so important; they are the environmental arteries of the country and it is vital that we allow them to thrive.
