I had a quick chat with the Defence Secretary Ben Wallace yesterday before the defence spending announcement. I said 'Great about the money. Will any of it go on actual soldiers?' He said of course it would - but we need better tech to protect those soldiers. There's no point having troops and tanks without the defences against enemy drones that can spot and take them out.
