Last week I met Collette Musgrave, Chief Executive of the Army Families Federation (AFF) to discuss the MOD New Accommodation Offer which is being rolled out in March 2024.
She highlighted concerns that there are issues surrounding the availability of Service family accommodation in many areas, and the challenges raised by the increased demand in service personnel applying for accommodation for their families. I have written to Dr Andrew Murrison MP, Minister for Defence People and Families at the MOD for clarification of certain issues raised by the Offer, and will be meeting Collette again in the New Year to discuss this and other issues for Service families in more detail.
